Position: Project
Manager (Evaluation Team)

Responsibilities and Qualifications: The Project Manager will work to support the aims
of the Type
1 Diabetes TrialNet Clinical Network Hub, an NIDDK-funded grant in the Diabetes Clinical Research Program.
There are three principal teams which comprise the Hub
(Outreach/Recruitment, Clinical, and Evaluation) and this position will be
responsible for providing oversight and direction to the Evaluation Team, as
well as serve on the Hub Leadership Team. In conjunction with the Hub Director,
the Project Manager will work with each Hub team to
develop metrics in order to effectively track, evaluate, and assess the overall
cost-effectiveness of the Hub’s activities. The team will also work
closely with IT and the TrialNet Coordinating Center’s statistical and
programming staff to develop reports and dashboards.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Participate
on the Hub Leadership Team, providing input on decision-making regarding
operational and program direction for the Hub;
·
In
collaboration with the Hub Director and Leadership Team members, develop
outcomes and indicators that will be used to monitor the Hub’s progress towards
its goals;
·
Develop,
implement, and monitor an evaluation plan addressing strategic and program
evaluation questions, data collection methods, analysis and reporting;
·
Prepare
status reports which outline the progress and outcomes of evaluation
activities;
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree
preferred. A minimum of five years’ experience in a research environment with
progressive amounts of responsibility and supervisory skills.
